Jenifer Mohler
As a mental health counseling intern, I believe change begins with compassion, connection, and honoring the humanness of who you are. With a decade of experience supporting diverse communities in Santa Cruz County, I bring a commitment to trauma-informed care, social justice, and honoring the unique contexts each person brings to therapy. My experience includes supporting adults with co-occurring conditions and working with individuals navigating complex mental health challenges, including addiction.
My approach is grounded in humanistic, person-centered therapy. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences with curiosity. It is important to me that each person I work with feels supported and respected. I value meeting clients where they are, working collaboratively, and creating space to explore the intersections of identity, environment, and lived experience. My hope is that therapy offers an opportunity to feel more connected to yourself and move toward a life that feels authentic and meaningful.
